In his address, PM Modi emphasized the deep cultural, historical, and economic ties between the two nations. He highlighted ongoing joint efforts in sectors such as transportation, health, housing, trade, and tourism, including the newly inaugurated Cap Malheureux Area Health Centre and 20 Small Development Projects. He also announced the elevation of India-Mauritius ties to an "enhanced strategic partnership," focusing on new projects, including the construction of a new Parliament for Mauritius and the second phase of community development projects.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to a free, secure, and prosperous Indian Ocean region, with India offering continued support for Mauritius' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) security. On the issue of the Chagos Archipelago, PM Modi reiterated India’s full support for Mauritius' sovereignty.
Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam emphasized the ongoing partnership between the countries and the significant impact of Indian assistance on Mauritius' socio-economic development. He also expressed gratitude for India's unwavering support of Mauritius' sovereignty.

Eight MoUs were signed across various sectors, including crime investigation, maritime traffic monitoring, finance, capacity building, and ocean economy. Notable agreements included collaborations with the Indian Navy, State Bank of India, and several government ministries from both countries.
The two leaders also jointly e-inaugurated the Cap Malheureux Area Health Centre and 20 Small Development Projects, funded by India.

The theme, "As One People, As One Nation," resonated throughout as the national flag was raised, followed by a 21-gun salute.
